Installation Help

Step One: Installation Of eDiningExpress Clover Integration App

In order to accept and print eDiningExpress orders on your Clover station, you will need to install the eDiningExpress Clover Integration App. To do so, please use the following directions:
  1. Sign into your main Clover station with an administrative / manager account
  2. From your main Clover station, select App Market from the home screen
  3. Locate the eDiningExpress Integration app in the list, and click on it
  4. Click the download button (which may also appear as FREE - Subscribe)
  5. Once the download appears to be complete, confirm installation by returning to the home screen and locating the eDiningExpress Integration app icon
  6. Open the eDiningExpress Integration app for the first time, then continue to the next step

Step Two: Connecting Your eDiningExpress Account To Your Clover Account

In order for our online ordering service to communicate with your Clover machine, we will need some additional information. Please complete the following steps:
  1. Sign In to your eDiningExpress Account
  2. From your Control Panel Home, click the Clover option
  3. Click Clover Setup
  4. Fill in the information requested and click Continue
  5. On the next page, the system will present a button to Authorize our software with your merchant account. Click this button
  6. If you are not logged in to your Clover account, you will be redirected to the Clover server to log in and authorize our software
  7. Once you return to eDiningExpress, you will be notified of success or failure of your authorization

Step Three: Syncing Menu To Clover

After your online menu is set up as you would like it, the menu should be synced with Clover. Syncing your menu will place your online menu items into your Clover system, so that they can be referenced with incoming online orders. The items can also be set up for your various kitchen printers from your Clover station. Here is how to sync your menu to your Clover account:
  1. Ensure that the Installation Of eDiningExpress Clover Integration App and Connecting Your eDiningExpress Account To Your Clover Account steps have been followed and were successful. (Note: there is no need to repeat these steps if you have completed them before)
  2. Sign In to your eDiningExpress Account
  3. From your Control Panel Home, click the Clover option
  4. Click Sync Menu
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions
  6. After the process, your online ordering items will be in your Clover account. These items are hidden from regular usage, but will appear on your machine's administrative backend for printer setup as needed.

    Whenever you make a change to your online ordering menu, including changing items or adding/removing items, repeat this process to keep your system up to date

Step Four: Test Order

After completing the first three steps, your setup will be completed. The next step is to complete a test order to ensure that your Clover machine is receiving and printing the order. To complete this, navigate to your online menu and complete an order. It should print on your machine shortly afterwards.

Troubleshooting

Retrieval Of Merchant ID

During the installation process, we will request your Clover Merchant ID. To find this, follow the following directions:
  1. From your Clover station (the same one that has the eDiningExpress Integration app installed), select the Help app
  2. In the Help app, select the Diagnostics tab
  3. Your Merchant ID will be displayed beside your restaurant name under the Merchant Info heading

Not Receiving Orders / Orders Not Printing

Check to ensure that your device is connected to the internet and that the eDiningExpress Integration app is installed. If this does not alleviate the issue, attempt to repeat step two of the installation process.
